New cabana complex and site plan on the Long Island Sound

At this beach club in Westchester County, New York, the vintage bathhouse and the layout of the grounds were not up to the standards of the stately clubhouse, a 1906 Tudor-style mansion. Fradkin & McAlpin brainstormed with the building committee to finalize priorities and created a brand-new cabana complex and site plan that introduced a dedicated pool drop-off area. A relandscaping of the entry plaza was also part of the program.

• Secured approvals from three local regulatory boards, including the coastal management commission
• Built consensus for programmatic needs among diverse stakeholders, including the club's membership
• Orchestrated the project for completion during the off season, in time for the club's annual Memorial Day weekend re-opening
